“I like to experiment in my paintings using the idea of chance to create shapes and textures. I love to paint landscapes. By painting through chance I want to show that landscapes too, are created through chance, you don't have control over the way a landscape grows and develops over time. I have also enjoyed including elements of the Canterbury landscape into my work, such as the unique trees, braided rivers and the sand dune grasses."
