“I want to communicate the feeling of home and warmth provided by the company of horses. Horses can be therapists, best friends and beloved companions. I want the message of 'being at home with horses' to be communicated so that more people realise the calming and loving effects these incredible creatures can have on us.

I have ridden horses for five years and have two of my own. I started out biking down to my local riding school and paying with pocket money for lessons. The feeling of sharing a bond with a horse and the security and trust while riding made me fall in love with the sport. Now a few years on I live with my horses and when I'm around them I feel more at home than anywhere else. The horse featured in my work Gizzy, has been everything I wanted and more, a dream."
